Dr Ebrahim Fakir is a Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeon recognised for his expertise in implantology, reconstructive surgery, and digital treatment planning.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BChD and numerous academic awards, he later achieved his MChD Cum Laude and was honoured with the College Medal. He serves as a councillor and examiner for the CMSA FCMFOS(SA) and sits on the Executive Committee of the South African Society of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeons. Dr Fakir also leads the Peninsula ITI Study Club as Director and is currently the president of AOCMF in Southern Africa, contributing to the advancement of surgical education and clinical standards across the region
He co-founded the Smile In A Day Dental Implant Clinic, assembling a specialised team dedicated to full-arch smile restorations while also developing implantology training programmes for dental professionals. As a key opinion leader for Straumann and Southern Implants South Africa, Dr Fakir continues to lead advancements in surgical techniques and digital implant solutions.
